Lovely location looking over the olive tree valley. Gentle cool breeze whilst enjoying a fantastic steak meal with sangria. Staff were very friendly, nothing too much of a problem. Chef came to talk with diners between dishes, nice touch. Will be going back again before our trip is done, definitely worth the drive out.

I only had coffee and a walnut cake there. The people working there were friendly and the service good. The cake was excellent! Reasonable prices.

Had lunch today, we have been in Portugal for a month and this was the best meal we have had. Fresh, delicious even the coffee was superb. Our host was entertaining and spoke perfect English. Very enjoyable experience. The donkey was fun as well

Excellent dinner. We had grilled swordfish and steak with goat-cheese and probier sauce. Both dishes were excellent and very reasonable in price. Both 15 Euros. The Steak a “Varia” ordered Medium rare and that’s how it came, Excellent meat, very tender. Sitting on the terrace with nice view is a bonus. The service was friendly and quick. We can recommend this place.

Steak with three pepper sauce was sublime! So tender and fantastic sauce with fresh pink peppercorns. So nice to eat vegetables cooked with a bite instead of usual soggy mess that seem to get dished up elsewhere 😋 My partner had the Black Pork 'secret' and couldn't fault it either! Great service, fabulous views can't be bad on a Monday evening 👌 Balhazar the mule is hilarious too!

Great atmosphere and great for families. Staff are extremely welcoming and could not do enough to make us happy. Don't believe the negative reviews, they're written by inpatient tourists who don't appreciate a slower pace of life.
